This 'N That

My friend Cheryl had her 2nd baby boy yesterday! Congratulations!

Candice wrote about an interesting experiment she did last month with dish washing that I think you should check out.

And, my younger brother, Tyler, wrote a thought-provoking blog about caring for others.

Check them out!

I have my first OB appt. today with the nurse midwives at the hospital closest to us that I'm using this time around. The greatest thing ever is that I can go to my appts. in town rather than driving 15+ miles each way to see my other Doctor. Much more economical in my opinion. Plus, the hospital we'll be using is 8 miles away rather than 20+. Another nice thing about it is that it's called Women's Health Center of Oregon, so everything is designed especially for women and everything is so pretty inside. It's decorated all cutsie and is just so much more relaxing and inviting than a normal Doctor's office.

I'm glad you were able to find somewhere close that you really like! I know how much liked your last dr. so it's such a blessing find somewhere close that you like too! When do we get to find out if we are getting a niece or another nephew?

Thanks, I love it too. I posted the pattern for the bag on my blog. It's pretty easy.

hmmm. Candice's blog actually leaves me feeling depressed, because we don't have a dishwasher! But it's good to know for when we do!

I used 60% cotton and 40% linen, DK weight. I'm not sure what brand. I got it at a yarn store in Ashland. I have another pattern for crochet, I'll post that on my blog too if you want it. It's pretty much the same.
