Good Gracious

I seem to have dropped off the face of the earth! Well, actually, I've just been finally feeling better and have been getting this done around here! Wow, amazing, huh? I don't feel fabulous in the morning, but I feel better than I have in months, so I still can get stuff done.

I had a nice relaxing weekend with my boys, so that was very nice, too. I cooked my first "real" dinner in a long time. London broil with a scrumptious marinade I found at foodnetwork.com, boiled red potatoes with a lemon butter sauce I made up and grilled red peppers. YUMMO. Our dinners of late have been lots of Annie's mac & cheese and spaghetti. It was nice to have a real meal.

We finally have some news about the house, but still not a whole lot. The buyer stopped by the house yesterday and said that her lawyers in TX would have the money here within 30 days. What does that mean for us? More limbo! But, we really want to sell the house to her because of the price she offered and such we feel like it's the best option. Hopefully, we can set a close date for 30 days out and she can keep us posted on news from them so that we will for sure know when we can move. It's not too bad, I'm just packing up stuff we don't use very often, (we seem to have a lot of that!) and living simply. I'm really praying that the money comes through so we can move mid-Oct!

That's my update...off to play with my boy and get some stuff done around here.

Ta ta!

I'm glad you are feeling better. I hope things work out with the house too. I'm praying for you. Your made up sauce sounds delectable! I have entered a cooking slump. No creativity what so ever. :(

Oh man... Reading all of your posts about how you've been so sick and still are sick, makes me almost possitively sure that I'm going to be the exact same way as you when I get pregnant, which sucks! I have a SUPER sensitive stomach, so I KNOW that I'm gonna get morning sickness BAD. Ugh :-( Either that, or I'll really luck out and not get it at all... I'm hoping it will go that way :-) But prob not. :-(
